It’s no coincidence my last blog post was created about 6 months ago and my baby Kylie was born within the last couple weeks. My wife was the brains behind the technology part of the blog while I was the one creating the content. She was unable to assist during the first trimester like she was before, and I had not learned the ins and outs of the technology to be able to do it on my own. So, we decided to take a break from the blog for a while. And that explains the long silence from A Tale of Resale.
But now it’s time to get it going again!
I’m determined to learn the tech side of the blog myself so that I can keep this going no matter what (because I really enjoy doing it!). But I plan to limit the blog to 1 post per week as opposed to the 2-3 posts per week I was doing last year. Hopefully this will allow me to have a blog schedule that is sustainable and will not burn me out. After all, I work a full-time day job and have a family of four – I need to maintain some work-life balance.
Since the last post, I moved from Seattle back to Nashville, TN.
Yeah, I know – two cross country moves within a 9-month period is pretty crazy. But, we realized pretty quickly Nashville had become our home, and we wanted to settle down there. I took an Accounting Manager job with my old company in Nashville, and I live within 5 miles of my previous house. So the transition has been a relatively smooth one.
Now it’s time to get back to business.
The first weekly blog post will go up next Monday!
Seeing the joy on his face as he played in his new airplane rocker is what life is all about. That’s the good stuff!
*The joy is even greater for me knowing I only paid $5 for it. But my son doesn’t need to know that. 😉
I’m looking forward to writing the next chapter of my Tale of Resale with you and to help you write your own.
Tale of Resale is back!
